Something familiar

S

When I think about it I cry… not a sad cry but a cry of relief. I feel like I’ve made it cross the checkpoint, barely making it with 5 secs to go. It’s the kind of rush you get speeding and switching lanes on the freeway. So close to death but living at a all time high. The sun comes up and your new again. You breath deep and the cool air in your lungs make it real. Time is slowing down and with each second you can feel your heart. Everything has led you to this moment. You now have everything you need to go on your next journey.
