The Tide is Rising

Diving into the depths of the ocean,

Descending into the bottom of the sea.

I’m sinking faster and faster. 

Wondering if anyone will be at the bottom 

waiting for me. 

 

Swimming against the current, 

while I face nothing but turbulence. 

All I want is for somebody to fight

the stormy sea with me. 

 

To be, waiting for me

on the other side of the ocean tide. 

We will find dry land together.

We will no longer have to hide.

We can discover love’s hidden treasures 

and everything inside. 

We will be like pirates, that found a treasure chest.

 

The crest is rising. 

A rogue wave is coming through. 

I still want to swim in the depths of all that is you. 

 

Tread water and stay still. 

Or come with me, it’s all up to you.
