The Wrong Candidate

Don’t let them out of the box,
For fear of a new and worse madman,
Incendiary device of our own making, privilege by lottery of birth,
Consider carefully before finally deciding to agitate for change, post event,
Don’t blame for the actions of criminals,
But nurse, be inclusive, kind and understanding,
For the spirit of power compel you,
To be nervous to appoint from the start,
Someone to unite the right thinkers and rally the unworthy,
Before it’s too late to know how it’s done,
Come together behind the right one.
