Epic   Fantasy   Friend   Funny   Love   Main   Nature   Other   Sorrow

Everyone has their own story, and this is it.

Tired of all the copy and paste

Hatred

Wearing it on your face

“are you okay?”

You’re late,

Centuries behind,

That’s a fact not up for debate

Please never hesitate

To change

But wait…

When was the last time you turned yourself inside out?

You’re plain and boring without a doubt,

Basic to your bones

You’re a universal shout screaming

“get out!”

Without thinking that I really would

Leave.

Please,

Find something else to put your mind at ease.

Can you even remember

Climbing trees,

Scraping your knees

Loving the bees,

Enjoying the breeze.

Never really thought about dying,

Everything you cried over wasn’t even worth crying over,

Wasn’t even worth trying.

You never wished you were flying,

Because you were.

You didn’t care if you knew whether or not someone was lying

Because you loved balancing on the line

Between make believe and dread.

And you wish that you could’ve kept your balance between then all the way until you were dead.

But you stumbled and fell,

Always woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

You swallowed pain meds until they burned holes in your cheeks and from your mouth, you bled.

You hit your head on the window over and over again

Because now, you’re a stereotype.

Copied and pasted hatred

On yourself.

In this facility, you can’t turn yourself inside out,

And that is supposed to help.

You figured out that paper goes on the table and not your tongue,

You still filled it with ink until you felt done

And ripped it apart until your word count was none.

You were numb.

No more euphoria and you had to get used to your face sitting in place,

Because everything, I mean everything takes the same shape.

From storylines to landscapes, even size along age,

Everything peaks and it seems okay,

But you must understand that one day

There will nothing left to look up to.

You will have to look down and say

That you did your best, that you tried to stay

But there was no way

To keep you from turning into everyone else.

We were all made the same.

We all go insane.

    This was great. ?

  2. your best work I’ve read so far.. the writing is so spontaneous, but the story feels complete.. it’s a whole new level 😀

    • Thank you so much! I’m surprised that this is my best, it was one of my most quickly written ones. I guess it is composed of a lot of thoughts I’ve had that I never thought to write until today

  3. You just excel at this. Always look forward to reading you. This is one of your best. If I said that before, oh well. Just goes to show how great of a writer you are. Well done!
