Don’t Hurt Me, I’m Fragile

Be still heart, not time again,

For fear of loves rejection,

Take the plunge, remain, abstain?

Respond to her affection?

Confusion where’s this coming from,

But nice if can control it,

Jump right in, fail, might bomb,

Run away or commit?

Around the World, remain contained,

A version of my trueness,

Break free of life, a love unchained,

So scared of looking foolish,

Sing my songs of love to come,

So lyrical and tuneful,

No second guess this time around,

My path to love is crucial.
