Nothing on My Own

No matter where I roam,

Sadness fills my days,

Wishing I was home,

To chance upon your gaze,

My face can’t hide the truth,

The feelings of regret,

The times we spent as youths,

The distance don’t forget,

Left messages on my heart,

Sang love songs in my ears,

The times we are apart,

Seconds feel like years,

We laugh, we talk, we see,

Every chance we get,

Just time for you and me,

Can’t smile without you yet.
