A barren landscape of loneliness, invisible to a father
A sand dune rolling across a window into a soul
seen by all
a terminus, a beginning and a glow of light
where time once was only decay
it now brought a clear path paved in hope
bathing in happiness and clarity
the empty became full
the obviscation became irrelevant
a duty, a star, a way up into the heavenly glory
clasping his hands, the father moves out into the dawn
meeting an angel that offers peace and rebirth
in a magical, silvery storm
this has touched my heart since I lost my Dad seven years ago. Yr poem really touched it
