Some things you can’t fix

you can think and make a plan

 

you can scream and you can beg

you can try to understand

 

but some things you can’t fix

sometimes there’s not an answer

 

that will justify the end

of what you had with her

 

so don’t cry, don’t beg, don’t scream

don’t vent

 

there’s nothing that can mend

the end

that you resent

 

there’s a bottle to your left

and a woman to your left

 

so pick one or both

and accept there’s nothing left
