My luck, well it sucks
I feel like I might be screwed
I really am left with nothing to do
My shoelace catches,
I fall face flat, get a nice scratch
I wonder what karma planed
I lose my phone in my pants
Thirty minutes later I realize oh crap
Well I guess it’s broke for a week or two
Until it dries out I have nothing to do
My luck sucks, I might be screwed
Word of advice i have for you
Always check the pockets of the laundry you do
And maybe it’s time to bend over and tie your shoe

I must admit, probably not my most proud accomplishment having to write this. But my day really is sucking.
I’m really sorry for the misfortune of late, but if I’m being honest (and it might just be me), there’s a sliver of comedic gold here. Unintentional as it may seem, there is a cautionary tale with a lighthearted ambience throughout. I wish for nothing but the best of fortunes from here on out, and until then, I thank you for sharing your work 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
I found some humor in this.. until I realized out was a true story.
Sorry for your luck!
Hope it turns around.
Thanks, trying to make something good out of it.
Hopefully writing can ease your stress! Nice poem though!
Thanks!
Yep, I know the feeling. Washed my phone a couple of times to now its a habit to take it out my pants first. Good poem with humor but sorry for the misfortune.
Thanks.
