A Dead Park

A dead park.
No children,
no laughter,
no screaming,
No crying.
Nothing.
That’s the beauty of a dead park,
There nothing.
There’s nothing but silence.
The swing slowly rusting- waiting to be used,
A slide with nothing but cold metal.
A dead park shows something we all fee,.
Nothing.
However, a dead park has excitement waiting,
Happiness will return to this.
with happiness, sadness will join,
You cant have one and not the other.
So yes a dead park is useless to me,
probably to you but it shows something about us all.
Because we have swing and a slide,
Even though they aren’t being used right now they be.
People will use them in times of happiness and joy
But also in pain and loneliness.
So we have to deal with the sadness and sorrow,
But that’s only because we crave the cheerfulness that it brings.
A dead park reminds us of a time where we had no cares in the world.
And how joyful we felt in it.
For a short time, you feel calm.
as if you were that child who didn’t care about what people thought or if you got a good grade.
Then you realise that you are not that child anymore,
If anyone saw you staring at this dead park they would think you were crazy.
So, we are like a dead park but don’t tell anyone.
