Political, economic, individual or social freedoms
Are mere illusion and only spiritual freedom is real!
But the spirit of man is imprisoned within the heart.
Between illusion and reality man gropes in darkness
To see the light of truth at the end of the long tunnel!
Not even knowing who he is, man is over whelmed
By illusion and merely building castles in the air!
So, it is an illusion realization of the Self, I
In the body or mind, as the spirit is reality!
Knowing the indwelling spirit is not enough
But knowing the Universal Spirit is important
Because the spaceless and timeless state of
The Universal Spirit is where real freedom lies!
And reaching this spaceless and timeless state
Is the ultimate goal of life, we should know!
The only way out is we should free ourselves of
Duties, obligations, ambition and desires first!
Unless naturally freed from desires and duties
It is impossible to devote to divinity to reach it!
Unless problems are solved for settlement pilgrims
Cannot progress on the sacred path to sublimity;
Or else, till they fulfil their mission and attain
Perfection they have to face many a life and death
In many a birth in this world to reach Moksha!
And meditating over religious truths man searches
For reality and Ultimate Reality in Nature ever!
Because of modern civilization, seeing time man
Works as machine and lives as animal after work;
By religion man may become a divine being,
But by culture brute is refined to a human being!
By too much materialistic pursuits men have become
Machinebeastmen, men of no conscience and inhuman!
And so, least caring for human values man lives
An artificial life contrary to the principles of Nature!
So, man has to live as human being but not as machine
Or beast by human culture or civilization based on culture!
Only after coming to this stage the words of the great,
Buddha, Sankara and Ramanuja will be meaningful;
And by detached meditation, intellectual pursuits high
And dedicated devotion to God can we attain Moksha;
Or the state of Brahma, the spaceless and timeless state,
Nirvana and total liberation of the soul would be possible!
When man does not care for Nature, art and culture
How can freedom be assured in the competitive world?
When there are differences of opinion for all goods of God
How can love, brotherhood and unity be achieved here?
So, only if the culture of best thoughts, words and deeds
Pursued by society, works for the creation of One World
With one God, one language, common laws and defence
First, social, economic and cultural freedom can be got!
