Un-Understandable Relationships

You will call me your daughter and I will call you my dad, but the real relationship between us, I will never understand.
I know me not understanding will not mean our relationship will ever end.
You will be someone to me, and I will be someone to you.
But I will never understand who.
I will always love you as my dad, and you might love me as someone else, but I will never understand that.
