Only When Wisdom…

Honest men by their own standards, they only
did what they knew or suspected everyone else
did which is follow a truly despicable leader who
promises fast money and good profit for doing
very little or nothing at all

Wise people never accept that kind of deal, never
follow the faulty arguments of an unprincipled man
who gives too high returns for too little input – thus
wisdom, not love, is the highest value in life, only
when wisdom is guiding

Can love be exercised, all else is subservient to
wisdom, knowledge of the equations required
to run the human mind…

“Going Postal” – Terry Pratchett Doubleday 2004
p.269 – “They were, by their own standards, honest
men, in that they only did what they knew or suspected
that everyone else did…”
