I wrote a song or two for you
Plucked a simple melody
Tried to see if possibly
I could play your personality
Now those notes are far away
Floating in the stratosphere
Hiding behind a rain filled cloud
Its been too long since they were here
I can’t even play them now
My fingers dont recall the moves
Their memory brings too much pain
Of another game I’m bound to lose
I wrote a song or two for you
The truth is I know every bar
I could play them in my sleep
The treble is, they left a scar
outstanding and lovely write….the word flow and content flow is spell binding…i thoroughly enjoyed your poem….
Beautifully written piece. This is lovely.
You’ve got a way with words, where I can picture them dancing off of the paper.
This was great.
