How is your day?
Babies. Did you hear about the babies?
We love babies.
But not dying ones. Or
The inconvenient, digital ones. Or
The ones with gas
Or saltwater in their lungs
They are much less pleasant.
So let us outrage in our silent place.
No one will hear us.
We should not have to tarnish
our coffee-time.
Especially not for
Sad, mute, distant mothers.
Instead,
Let us just push buttons.
That will bring the silence we long for
And stuff the loudness, the noise
Coming from
Voiceless hungry mouths.
Or worse, unburied children.
One sugar or two?
