let me be nothing

let me be no more than a lack of disappointment

to those I care most about

let me be nowhere

let me be nowhere close to those I care most for

let me be nothing

let me be nothing more than the pictures I take asleep

so when I wake I’ll see nothing more than that

which I know I can’t keep

I care not to be, see or believe

that which I can only
