Boomerang me

yes i know, we all have them
all those problems, little, large
like not having enough money
having debts even, one or more
not having a woman beside us
or we think not pretty enough
(as if we are)

but my problems always come back
the ones we all have to deal with
problems with taxes, with money
problems with neighbours and other
living (yet braindeath) humans
with the spotty newspaper boy
and all those dogs that shit everywhere

every time i deal with them, solve them
and after a while i start to think that
those problems are finally over, gone
i really do start to believe it’s over
but then they come back, every time
they always come back, always return
they always return and hit me in my face
