Things Sure Have Changed

Constellations create a dream

Fabricated stories that have been told for centuries

We call them the stars

They light up the skies

Depending on where you reside

I dont see them

But i know they are there

Like a starlight night, peace of mind is scarce

They say a picture says a thousand words

Im more than five percent there

I got this inspiration from a painting

You can find it anywhere

Im not painting no pictures

But i sure can tell a tale

The tune i sing is no fable

All expierences are very real

Authentic to each and every detail

Just like that another five percent gone down the well

Put forth the effort the results will tell

This life we live is only relative to the last 100 years

Things have changed

The roots dissappeared

You might be blind

But i saw indirectly

We stood by they bulldozed and cemented

Infrastructure declining neglected

And we voted for state representatives
