Questioning Love

What is Love?
Where do I go to find it?
Some have told me not to search for it
but sometimes I yearn for it.
I feel like I atleast deserve it.
But there’s times when I did indeed curve it.
Because love can make us nervous.
I’d rather not have it, rather than have it
And in the end, end up feeling worthless.
I don’t want to experience a broken heart,
yet I want to experience love.
No, I’d rather sell the drug than to do the drug.
I don’t want to be hurt again.
Yeah I been hurt before.
The pain that comes with love
Makes you not want to endure it anymore.
If I do find it again,
Maybe I’ll accept it
Instead of avoiding it
Running around being reckless.
Maybe I never had it
So how would I know?
Maybe it’s a feeling inside
Or maybe I don’t even know.
Maybe the key is to take time and grow.
