Forsake

Give it up for a new kind of believer

One who forsakes their father

Let’s become God

That way we’ll never be hurt.

Either be feared or hated

But who’d want to be loved?

Nothing can hurt you,

No, nothing can touch you.

Everything will bow down before you.

Be god, kiss the mirror, be a real idle.

So they don’t mind your infidelity.

I don’t know how to love,

So why do you think I do?

I’m god, call me a blasphemer.

I call it a new vision,

A new way to be happy.

Put myself before all of you.

Become your golden statue.

I don’t care what you say,

I’m a god.

A new believer.

That nothing can ever hurt me.

I am god.

A deity.

Book of Truth.

My words are lies.

I’m dying inside.

Nothing can hurt me.

Nothing can hurt me.

I’ve forsaken everyone.

  1. A new kind of believer in yourself, God. Or not. Some interesting thoughts you’ve written down here, plenty food for thought for the reader to ponder.
