Everything and Eternity

As soon as I wake,

My very first thought,

Is the same one I fell asleep to,

My Everything,

Eternity,

As from bed I rise,

All I can do,

Is think of when next I will meet you,

My Everything,

Eternity,

In my mind always,

You linger and wander,

In every small thing that I do,

My Everything,

Eternity,

If you were to express,

That you wanted to fly,

I would become the wings that would carry you,

My Everything,

Eternity,

For if all of the world,

Should crumble to dust,

You would be the one that I cling to.
