This soul thing
has me thinking beginning,
musing parents and God.
I know the physical me;
the flesh and blood part,
was made by mum and dad.
But the spirit inside;
the one that never dies,
where did that come from?
Did it attach itself, like a spark
to the egg inside the womb?
Or was it fertilised into life?
Soul creation makes me wonder;
God made us in his image, man and woman
but did we get it wrong?
Is it our bodies He created in His image?
Or is it our souls
that are more a picture of Him?
