Living on the borderline feels exactly so,
Too afraid to enter the world,
Too afraid to go.
You are told it’s not your fault,
Your brain is just unwell;
But if your personality is disordered
You are trapped in a personal hell.
People try to understand
And stop your destructive ways,
But inside you’re on fire,
So outside everyone stays.
And deep within this chaotic maze,
You’ve come to call your soul,
You cling to all external things
Which you pray can make you whole.
But just like a mirror, or a vase
Once shattered you will not fix.
So you dye your hair drink some wine
And hope it’s over quick.
