Forever Young

Together forever and forever young
Now in heaven and the stars among
Some would say we died before our time
But our hearts and souls are still entwined

Both went together neither of us awaits
We were welcomed at The Pearly Gates
Drunk driver hit us and we died instantly
But our love will live on through eternity

Few days ago married “Till death do us part”
Seems, never a truer word said my sweetheart
Could not have been happier, you as my bride
Couldn’t have been happier with you by my side

Our families are crying tears for you and for me
They don’t realize, this is how it was meant to be
Was time to go, seems to our maker we were assigned
It is what happens when the all the planets are aligned

Full moon was out, to some it is known as Silly Season
Universe, a funny place and things happen for a reason
Dead we may be, but not our love, it’s an endless thing
Souls together. proving love is more than a wedding ring

Our bodies were found motionless there, by the roadside
Not a heartbeat nor a pulse, but still, our love never died
We now wander off into the heavens, to places unchartered
Lived and died together, but now our real journey has started
