Reassurance

Occasionally the rivers flow

Down once most rosy cheeks,

Over insignificant things,

But at the time it feels like the end of everything.

 

Occasionally you’ll stop distracting yourself

And realise you moved on,

Realize that you’re happy

And that the event is long gone.

 

Occasionally it’ll be a slow process

Because you need a bit of time

No pressure, no worries, no stress

You can honestly say you’re fine

 

Occasionally it’ll be too much

Just keep walking down your road

I believe you it’s hard sweetheart

Just don’t carry everyone’s load
