I am cognisant of past errors I have made when it comes to love
It is something that has caused me great pain with the wrong person and therefore I have come to the conclusion that I was never in love –
I was in love with the idea of love and I did have a love for a person but I have just had an epiphany that I wasn’t not loved by him-

Not sure that I agree. Your love may have been in full bloom, he just was not the one to behold and understand it’s beauty being sent to him and he failed to recognize the fragrance that you were sending out to him. His failure and unfeeling doesn’t mean that your love for him was not real or was not on full display.
