it could’ve been like
pebbles in the hand
damp, with grains of sand
none of them alike
it is like no one knew
they landed far away
too far to see, i say
in a puddle of flowerdew
it seems knowing was wrong
but searching through the wild
excited again like a child
the urge to find was strong
