I waltzed with Death as he requested
Spinning around the memories of family and friends
He wanted to show me the prophets and the sinners
But I walked away with Fear
Then, I danced the night away with the Blues
Until Life appeared in the sunshine
Drying my tears with the light
As my smile began to show
It gave me confidence
As I watched, Death tried to arrest me
I told him, he doesn’t have the right
To hold me prisoner
And then, Death let me go
