Great use of rhyme! But why no rhyme in the second to last sentence?
I wanted it to stand out more. It makes you notice the line as a break from the rhyme scheme.

Glad her quote inspired you. People tend to make such statements that hurt themselves.
Pain teaches introspection, reflection, humbleness, compassion though for others it might just bring out rage? We tend to fictionalize a version of another, but the feelings can be real whether or not the object is. It’s all about us, we magnify with the energy we give out to people/situations. The pain felt it’s about our own development and the lessons needed. Sorry for sounding preachy.
