The Paradox

One who has caught
a glimpse of Me,
a whiff of Me,
or has immersed herself
in Me
still sees corruption,
still sees injustice
and a thousand
other plagues –

and yet
sees Me in the midst of all,
as if a perfect
mathematical order
inheres in all…

It’s as though
a cancer were no longer
simply a disorder
or disease of the body,
but partook
of the order
of the Whole.

The paradox:
even as she sees
Supreme Order,
with calm,
with clarity,
an expression of that Order,
she also plays her part
in removing
seeming disorder
as an expression
of duality too.
