My Journey Will Go On

Let me shed this sadness O’Lord!

For I can’t shake this feeling

My heart is breaking,

As I wait for an answer to my plea

The tears aren’t fixing that aches,

But they still come.

Yes, I fear the unknown

However, if I must, my journey will go on.

Even though, she may not be there,

When I succeed,

I want her to know I loved her,

With all my heart

And I’ll stand above to be with her,

Until my life has ended.
