Life will teach us many lessons
but are we willing to learn
or do we close our ears and get angry
remaining stubborn in our insistence to feel the burn.
At times disappointments teach us
for it’s not in success that we learn the most
but in failures and pain.
Winning can mess with our head
making us proud, egotistical and conceited.
Life is just and Karma is real
if one’s arrogant, Karma will knock one a few notches
and throw one back in the recycle bin.
Stay real, honest, true and humble
or keep stuck in cycle mode until the lesson’s been learned.
