Yr summer lovin’
Won’t keep me warm in winter
It was as cold as a Dairy Queen Blizzard
Giving me brain freeze
We went too fast with our love
As you wanted to get married
And have kids
But I didn’t; I want a career in poetry
Our fights were loud and frightful
So, I thought it was best to leave
For I wanted to take the less-traveled road
However, I will not regret the decision
For, in due time, you’ll see that I was right

Thanks for sharing with us.
If there were “fights … loud and frightful” you decided well.
I agrees with both of her comments.
I had love and broke it, just to write that it was so. You told me once of how I felt and how you know. We’re making progress, mine’s painfully slow, I’m a masochistic solipsistic mystic, freestlyling with my shortest fingers, curious, to the taste of lipstick.
