Pops (For Carmel Azzopardi)

I looked in the mirror,

And noticed my hairy eyebrows.

I look like him, cursing the reflection.

The unibrow is growing back,

But no beauty salon is open.

I guess I’ll just wait.

And these red tiny dots

Where did they come from?

I have them all over my arms

Beneanth the hair

I know I  inherited them both from him.

Though, these imprefections bother me some.

I must admitI miss him

And these just make want him here more.
