I haven’t heard from you for a while
I sit alone every night
Scrolling on my iPhone
Wondering if you got my messages
I text you a million times
But recieved no answer
I am wondering if I am giving you space
For I know I can be a nuisance
I lost a lot of friends that way
They didn’t say that per se
But I never heard from them again
Anyway, if you had the time
Come and save me from boredom

I suppose it can be difficult to know if we are being annoying in contacting other people. Real friends will always be glad to hear from us, I would think. But maybe sometimes they just want to be left alone for a while.
