Once upon a time there stood a peach tree
its fruits were sweet and the tree was happy to grant.
One day a child came upon the tree
and feeling that he had found himself a lucky star
of the tree’s fruits he delighted himself of
and some of the fruit he also sold
thus making it a point to periodically return for more.
The child got caught up in his life
and one day in winter when he returned
the reaping season had passed
and no fruit was there to be found.
Becoming extremely angry the child went into a rant;
“How dare you play with me
you gave… and now refuse to give me?
You lied… you broke my heart…
you will regret making this child cry.”
That night the child returned with ax in hand
and blinded by rage chopped the tree down to the grown
thus feeling justified and vindicated.
The pieces of the tree he sold as fire wood
and the proceeds of the wood went to line his pockets.
