O how you’ve changed who you were in the past
and who you’ll be in the future.
There’s a lot of paths one can go down on
but on every path
be careful how you enter and how you exit.
Tired, entering another challenge
coming out brokenhearted
a struggle between heart and mind
as you exit the labyrinth.
One can feel isolated by society,
structures and institutions
while those that you feel laugh at you
wearing their masks giving out the evil eye.
O the beauty and the resilience
of the human heart and spirit
grateful you made it out of the labyrinth.
