On This Earthly Journey

Good judgment comes from experience
experience comes from living life
making good and bad judgments
learning a lesson from each choice made
but if you’re not learning
you’ll remain stuck repeating the same lesson.

Life is simple but some complicate things
with their catastrophic thinking;
This is terrible! Why me?
This is not fair, look at Jack & Jill
they even got it better than me.
I can’t take it no more…
Life is bad and a constant struggle
and I just want to die.

Of course they don’t really mean it
most people who want to die don’t broadcast it.
These people just want pity and sympathy
to continue with their endless grumble.
They don’t believe in suffering with dignity
and in silence like a strong warrior
but in upsetting the rest of the passengers
who are also dealing with their own issues
on this earthly journey.
