I forgive you

I forgive you. I forgive you even though you don’t deserve it. It takes a lot of strength since you hurt me. You where the last person i thought would hurt me. 

I try to put myself in your shoes. I remind myself constantly of what you’ve been through. I try to understand why you are the way you are. 

I forgive you for what you’ve done. I forgive you for the things you’ve said. I forgive you for lying. I forgive you for trying to bribe me. I forgive you for leaving me motherless. 

Where humans, we make mistakes.
