In the bluebell wood, a favourite spot
I can still see you there , like a little white dot
On Frosty mornings I still watch you smell the air
Precious memories that can never be forgot
In the barn while cutting wood
I can still see you watching
From your little square of sun
As though you always understood
I can still here you barking
As you order me about
And smile at your bounce
As you shout the words out
In my dreams your busy digging
And relieved of all your pain
Or with your boy in the garden
The star of a football game
Now my tears are like raindrops
And the sun has ceased to shine
For there will never be another Noopy
That little dog of mine
