The Spark

They thought us blind, they thought us weak,
That we’d obey, not dare to speak.
They took our rights, they changed the rules,
Turned free men into silent fools.

But silence breaks, the whispers grow,
A restless fire begins to glow.
The ones who knelt now start to stand,
Their voices fierce, their fists in hand.

The streets once quiet start to roar,
As chains lie shattered on the floor.
The walls they built to keep us tamed,
Now crack and crumble in the flames.

They watch in fear, they feel the tide,
The power shifts, no place to hide.
For when the people rise as one,
No king, no law, no rule can run.

And so we march, with hearts alight,
No longer pawns—we own the fight.
They thought us blind, they thought us weak,
But now it’s we who dare to speak.
