I don’t think it’s just me
I just can’t seem to live in harmony
Maybe it’s just human nature
But selfishness is carved into my bones
No sympathy, no caring even in a democracy
If we all got our way we’d be running a monarchy
It really doesn’t matter in the end as long as we all get our fix
The power we crave, the men and chicks we date
That person we love, the hot one we want
The need to win, to carry on
So i got to wonder, how selfish are we?
