Im no atticus finch
But i sure can scout
An honest figure he was no doubt
A modest counsel
In all accounts
Is a rarity today
Spend thousands on degree
You better believe they’re out to be paid
Private prisons, were lead to believe they’re no slaves
In the modern day
Im not that naive
Im the boo radley
A figure cast behind a shadow
Misunderstood dont gotta be explained
All i need is a nod and a wave
Send me on my way
Convience comes at price
What sacrifices are you willing to make
Return to our traditions
You’d be amazed
Love is a reflection of where your hearts placed
I left mine out in the open
Now someone posseses it, i dont even know their name
To kill a mocking bird
Is like summer without a spring
What a shame
To Kill A Poem..
That’s what you did hear.
Excellent piece, my friend.
Enjoyed this.

Thanks. Your words mean a lot (not just your comment but your work as well)!
Liked this. Read “To Kill A Mockingbird” way back when in school, great book. Like how you worked the characters names into modern sensibilities. Boo Radley was my favorite too.
