At the End of the Day

When toil requires our time no more
We’ll spend our wage in pleasure’s store
With guilt locked in its dismal cell
We’ll bid restraint a fond farewell
With Bacchus as our drinking chum
We’ll render all our senses numb
And then we’ll toast our foolishness…

…and take a week to convalesce!
