His boat revolves in the fishing haven
flies in the sky a single raven
and the sails are distorted and fading
with her lonely thoughts.
She closed her window slowly
and looked at a certain place on the wall
where a smiling baby picture hangs.
The lamp flickers at St.Anthony’s miniature statue
and she poured some oil from a small bottle.
She prayed and worshiped a long time.
Begging for a child before the church feast.
She promised to herself and made a vow
to the holy saint, grant a day’s catch for an orphanage.
And she dreams on the same night;
Her husband carries a huge candlelight
and her elder brother push a cart full of raw fish.
She is holding her twins and walk towards
St. Fatima’s Orphanage passing the burial grounds.
