skipping in the storm
keeps me warm
even in the cold rain
I feel reborn
dance childishly puddle stomping
someone scoffs at my romping
rain abruptly runs away and as clouds race
a smile is etched upon my face
I ponder how I’ll waste my day
and wave at grumpy and skip away
