Dawn’s eyes

The twilight dawn cries to the eave;
Where shadows yawn and hope doth sleep;
The joyous sparrow flies to the meadow;
Embraced in darkness doth silence bellow;
O so sudden the Willow doth stir the shining lake;
Its gnarled fingers be awake;
The ripples sweep across the waters light;
Beautiful life takes its swim with thoughtful sight;
The purposeful ants emerge from their black homes;
The night so colossal; O to be alone,
Here cometh the Deer with the diamond tear;
The lullaby of birds that warms the heart for all to hear;
Quiet, be the wind! that shall rustle the crimson yews;
Crisp season leaves crunch delicously under the eager shoes;
Quiet you fool! be gone with you;
For the trees let out their everlasting sigh;
As blood and pure gold dance along the edge of Sky;
The dark retreats to its sorrowful cave!
The Sun has come with its merriful wave
Watch the Light-O, sacred Light-shine into your eyes,
This is not a beautiful lie
But the exhilaration of love, pure in its simpleness,
Hold our souls and gently kiss us
As the Light starts to sing it’s Dawning song
And the sparrow sings its tearful hym so long!
The Sky dance around the fire
Of the eyes; beauty’s desire.
