Disclosure

I do not know, why to me he came,
Telling his torment, and feelings of shame,
A sickening story, that pierced my ears,
Turning my stomach, realising my fears.

To me he came, screaming for help,
Not with his voice, but the way that he felt,
Mental torture, of love and hate,
Heartbreaking worry, for his father’s fate.

To watch this child, crumble and shake,
Hearing the carnage, left in the wake,
His childhood stolen, prematurely aged,
His body ravaged, his emotions caged.

All the courses, and weekends away,
Didn’t prepare me, for the things he’d say,
My violent anger, cloaked with calm,
Vengeance, for the one, causing his harm.

Twenty five minutes, to tell me his life,
Baring his soul, to let free his strife,
A masive journey, in so little time,
Breaking his silence, of this terrible crime.

To help that boy, will break many hearts,
Destroy two families, tear homes apart,
His courage outstanding, bravery unreal,
With time in the future, broken hearts will heal.
