Today the sun is shining
Tomorrow the rain may fall,
Whatever it is that I’m wanting
Tomorrow I won’t want at all;
Today I may be happy
Tomorrow I may be sad,
The worst thing that I can imagine
Tomorrow may not seem so bad;
Today my friends all love me
Tomorrow they may not,
The chilly winds may be blowing now
But tomorrow it may be too hot;
Some people never get it
They think they’re in control,
But sure as they stand on that mountain
Tomorrow could dig them a hole;
Life is a process of cycles
Happenings ebb and they flow,
No use to worry ’bout things we can’t change
Tomorrow they’ll change on their own.
