Falling Away

As the early morning light,
slips through the window,
we slowly awake
from slumber.
Our lips touch,
and I moan,
closing my eyes,
pressing to her,
needing more.
She pulls away,
“shh” she says,
placing her finger
to my lips,
“not yet”.
Oh, how she teases,
as she pulls me
close again,
and begins
sprinkling kisses
to my neck.
Burying my face
in her thick, soft hair,
I whisper
words of love,
and passion,
as I feel her
hands exploring,
searching, gliding.
Inexplicable lust
courses through me,
I moan again,
helpless to her touch.
“Shh, not yet”
I hear in return.
I want to scream
for the way
she slowly leads me on.
Suddenly the alarm clock blares,
she pulls away,
I hear myself moan again,
this time in
disappointment.
She has risen for the day,
only to leave me,
falling away.
